As a photographer, one of the things that I love is finding different ways to print my photos. In a time of Instagram photos and digital photo albums, having access to unique and affordable prints is essential and aesthetically pleasing.
Parabo Press, part of the Photojojo family, is an app-driven printing service that creates "small batch print processes you won't find anywhere else". Indeed you won't find these kinds custom prints anywhere else. Another great thing about Parabo Press is that you can access this service simply by downloading the app, which is available both in iOS and in Android. I ordered a few of their amazing prints for me to have in my own little space, and would love y'all to see what this amazing app can do.
Sometimes bigger can be better.
Engineer prints are 4x3 industrial sized paper prints that are great for showing up photos that need all the wall space it can get. I previously got the black and white engineer print (top) of a Seattle coffee shop a few months ago, but recently Parabo Press announced that they were printing out color engineer prints as well. The colored print (bottom) is of Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Room seen at The Broad museum in Los Angeles, CA.
What's amazing with these engineer prints is that they are lightweight making it easy to hang or tape onto any wall or surface. Even though I haven't tried it (yet), engineer prints are also perfect in portrait form as well.
Engineer Prints, both black & white and in color, are $25 in the Parabo Press app.
It's like Instagram IRL!
Square prints are 4-inch prints in thick matte paper, with a new option of upgrading the size to 5.5-inches. These extra thick yet light prints are great to have in any part of your home or work space. Additionally, square prints can be used for other services such as invitations, fliers, graphics or other promotional materials that folks other than photographers can enjoy. I especially like square prints because for an additional price, you have duplicate your prints without having to go through the pain of finding them again in your feed or camera roll.
Square prints start at 25 prints for $24 in the Parabo Press app.
This may be my favorite kind of print from Parabo Press.
Newsprints are 17x22 prints are extra lightweight and bring out a colorful, lo-fi feel in your prints. Newsprints are a perfect size for any photo, and even though it's folded into quarters, I kind of like it because it's a great touch to how the photos come out. Similar to the engineer print, the size is also perfect both for landscape and portrait style photos, so you can definitely have fun using this type of print.
Newsprints are $20 at the Parabo Press app.
These are all the prints I have from this amazing printing service!
I hope you like them just as much as I like having them in my space.
